Boka Restaurant Group and Top Chef/Iron Chef winner Stephanie Izard are currently seeking Hosts to join the team of Cabra, located on the top floor of The Hoxton LA!

ABOUT CABRA LOS ANGELES: Cabra, which means “goat” in Spanish, draws inspiration from Stephanie Izard’s travels throughout Peru in Lima, Arequipa, and Cusco. She captured the vast flavors and culture from her experiences abroad. Sitting atop LA’s buzzing Broadway, Cabra offers a vibrant dining experience with panoramic views and an airy, lively atmosphere, creating a true getaway.

Host Responsibilities Include:

• Warmly and graciously greet all guests
• Escort guests to their assigned table at a comfortable pace while engaging in friendly conversation
• Answer phone calls, relay messages, and handle reservations and confirmations
• Maintain reservation books to maximize covers and ensure proper booking
• Communicate with management and Chefs about possible waits, guest issues, and high-profile guests
• Coordinate and maintain a waitlist, keeping guests informed
• Maintain cleanliness and supplies in restrooms

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years hosting experience in a busy restaurant encouraged but not required
• Experience with OpenTable or similar POS systems
• Open availability on Saturdays and Sundays is required
• Polished, professional, warm, and hospitable demeanor

This position is ideal for someone dedicated to providing excellent service and seeking to join a hardworking, fun team.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift and move up to 10 pounds; frequently lift/move up to 25 pounds; occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds
• Use all necessary tools, equipment, and cleaning chemicals safely and effectively
• Stand and walk throughout the entire shift, including navigating stairs and uneven surfaces
• Ability to work in hot and cold environments
