ABOUT CABRA LOS ANGELES:Cabra, which translates to “goat” in Spanish, draws inspiration from Stephanie Izard’s travels throughout Peru in Lima, Arequipa, and Cusco where she captured some of the vast flavors and culture from her experiences abroad. A bright restaurant sitting atop LA’s buzzing Broadway,Cabracelebrates a vibrant dining experience featuring panoramic views and an airy, lively atmosphere making for a true getaway.

HOSTRESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Warmly and graciously greet all guests

• Escort guests to their assigned table at a comfortable pace while making friendly conversation

• Answering phone calls, relaying messages, booking and confirming reservations

• Maintaining the reservation books to maximize possible covers while booking the restaurant appropriately

• Maintain ongoing communication with management team and Chefs; alert them of possible waits, guest issues, high profile guests, etc.

• Coordinating and maintaining a wait list, keeping regular communication with guests who have been waiting

• Maintain restrooms for cleanliness and supplies

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1-2 years hosting experience in a busy restaurant encouraged, but not required!

• experience with Opentable or similar POS programs

• open availability on Saturday and Sunday is a must

• polished, professional, warm and hospitable

This is an ideal position for someone who is dedicated to providing great service and is seeking to become a member of a hard-working and fun team!

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Lift and move up to 10 pounds; frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Safely and effectively use all necessary tools, equipment, and cleaning chemicals
• Stand and walk for an entire shift, including moving safely through all areas of the restaurant which may include stairs, uneven, and/or slick surfaces
• Ability to bear exposure tohotandcoldenvironments
