BAYADA is looking for our next Hospice Triage Nurse!

This is a part-time, remote position every other weekend. The Triage RN needs to be flexible for a holiday rotation as well.

BAYADA Hospice is seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurses (RN) to join our hospice team.

Prior hospice experience is required. As a hospice nurse (RN), you will be an integral member of a multidisciplinary healthcare team providing palliative care to clients, enabling them to receive necessary medical care at home.

Responsibilities of a Hospice RN include:

• Respond promptly to all calls with excellent customer service and professionally represent BAYADA Hospice.
• Handle incoming service inquiries and care coordination calls effectively.
• Monitor clients' conditions and report any changes.
• Follow up on, execute, and document doctors' orders accurately.
• Provide clinical guidance to field staff to address clients' needs.
• Manage incoming communications from patients, families, caregivers, referral sources, or facility staff.
• Assess provided information and recommend appropriate nursing interventions.
• Make staffing adjustments as needed.
• Complete HCHB workflow tasks as assigned.

Qualifications for a Hospice RN include:

• A current compact license as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Prior hospice experience
• Experience with HCHB
• Strong computer skills
