Amedisys is seeking a Hospice Weekend On Call Baylor RN in North Carolina. The role responds to after-hours requests from our Triage RN, performing telephone triage or in-person visits with skilled assessment and interventions, including potential after-hours admissions and end-of-life visits.

Compensation includes attractive pay of $84,000–$86,000 annually, mileage reimbursement, and benefits beginning the month after hire.

Qualifications

• Current RN license required in state(s) of assignment.
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial nursing assessment on new admissions.
• Completes and revises total care plan with continuity of patient care.
• Communicates patient progress to clinical manager, physician and care team.
• Maintains individualized patient care progress records accurately.
