Job summary

Brighton/Suncrest Hospice is seeking a Weekend Registered Nurse (RN) to provide hospice care to patients in homes, assisted living facilities, and hospitals. The RN will complete admissions, conduct patient visits, and be the advocate for hospice services within the service area.

Applicants must hold an active RN license in the state, with at least one year of licensed experience, and be able to drive across the service area.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in the state(s) of practice.
• At least one year of experience under RN license.
• Ability to work weekends and travel within the service area.
• Strong communication and collaboration with care teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospice care visits to patients in homes and facilities.
• Complete admissions and patient visits as needed.
• Answer calls from patients and families; document visits.
• Coordinate with nurses, social workers, chaplains, and CNA leadership.
• Drive across service area with reliable transportation.
