Job summary

Hospice of Humboldt is seeking a Weekend Supervisor to oversee nursing operations at Ida Emmerson Hospice House in Eureka, CA. The role ensures high-quality, patient-centered care and coordinates weekend staffing across Homecare and Hospice House.

The ideal candidate holds a nursing degree (ASN/BSN) with an active California RN license and proven clinical leadership. Weekend shift coverage is required, with travel between units as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current California RN license.
• At least three (3) years of experience as a professional nurse.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working effectively with an interdisciplinary team.
• Valid driver’s license, proof of automobile insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Excellent computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide weekend clinical oversight for hospice services in Homecare and Hospice House.
• Serve as the primary clinical resource for nursing staff, addressing complex patient care needs.
• Ensure delivery of compassionate, high-quality hospice care.
