Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year nursing experience required.
• Associate's degree or higher or Diploma in Nursing required upon hire; Bachelor's degree in Nursing required within 5 years of employment.
• RN license in Kentucky required upon hire; BLS Healthcare Provider certification required within 45 days.
• Driver's license and 21 years of age required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition.
• Serves as primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Coordinates discharge planning with patient/family and healthcare team.
• Educates patient and family based on age, culture, and willingness to learn.
• Performs physician and nursing orders as assigned.
