Job summary

Amedisys is seeking a Weekend Registered Nurse (RN) to cover Franklin, Granville, Vance, Warren & Nash Counties in North Carolina. This full‑time role requires an active RN license and offers a $15,000 sign-on bonus with competitive pay from $76,436 to $95,000 per year.

The RN will perform patient assessments, coordinate with the care team to plan and implement care, supervise LPNs and HHAs, and ensure timely documentation.

Qualifications

• One year (1+) of clinical RN experience; approval by VP Clinical if less.
• Current RN license for the assigned state(s).
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient assessments and collaborates with the care team to develop and implement a plan of care.
• Makes referrals as indicated and documents rationale.
• Promotes patient health and independence through teaching and rehabilitation.
• Supervises LPNs and HHAs and completes timely documentation.
• Communicates patient progress to the clinical manager.
