Job summary
BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for home health visits in Funkstown, Maryland. The Per Diem Weekend Start of Care RN role requires a minimum of two Start of Care visits per weekend or two visits on Saturday and two on Sunday, with travel to cases in Washington County, MD.
Experience with Home Health and Medicare OASIS is required; flexible schedules and 1:1 patient care are emphasized.
Qualifications
- A current MD RN license.
- At least 1 year of recent, verifiable clinical experience.
- Home care experience preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Follow a designated care plan per patient needs.
- Make home visits to clients within defined territories.
- Administer medications, wound care, treatments and procedures.
- Monitor client conditions and report changes to supervisor.
- Document and follow doctor orders and care plans.
- Perform client assessments and coordinate case management.
- Utilize a tablet-based EMR to document observations and interventions.
