Job summary

Providence at Home with Compassus is seeking a per diem Home Health Physical Therapist to cover weekends in Seattle, WA. The PT will deliver in-home evaluations and treatments, guided by a physician's plan of care, and support patients to regain independence in their own homes.

The role requires a PT degree, an active license, and BLS certification within 30 days of hire, with preference for 1 year of home health experience. Compensation is hourly with benefits in a Compassus package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy as required.
• Current, unencumbered Physical Therapist license.
• Preferred 1 year of home health care experience.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Plan and administer PT treatments to restore function and relieve pain in home settings.
• Perform comprehensive assessments and refer to other disciplines as needed.
• Perform tests such as ROM, manual muscle tests, functional analysis.
• Instruct patients and families for home exercises.
• Supervise PT assistants and aides.
