Iowa Home Care is seeking a dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team for a Thursday–Sunday weekend package. This role focuses on consistent, one-on-one home care, helping patients stay safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• CNA certification in good standing on the Iowa Direct Care Worker Registry preferred.
• 1-2 years of home care, nursing home, or hospital experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation and insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene.
• Provide toileting and elimination assistance.
• Assist with walking, transfers, mobility, positioning.
• Take and document vital signs as directed.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Follow infection prevention, PPE procedures.
• Maintain a safe home environment and light housekeeping.
• Observe changes and communicate to nursing team.
