Job summary

Right at Home in Iowa City seeks a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to deliver patient-centered in-home care. You will assist with daily living activities, meals, mobility, and personal care, following care plans provided by a nurse and collaborating with families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Six months CNA experience in healthcare settings.
• State-approved CNA course completed.
• CPR certification recommended.
• Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, toileting, mobility).
• Assist with meals and feeding as needed.
• Support with mobility devices (walker, cane, wheelchair) and transfers.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to supervising nurse.
• Follow care plans and infection control procedures.
