Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CNA certification in good standing preferred.
• 1-2 years of home care, nursing home, or hospital experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Strong communication and compassionate patient care.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene.
• Provide toileting and elimination assistance.
• Assist with walking, transfers, positioning, and mobility.
• Take and document vital signs as directed.
• Follow infection prevention, safety and PPE procedures.
• Observe changes in condition and report to nursing team.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Maintain a safe home environment with light housekeeping related to care.

Looking for a CNA schedule that gives you consistency while keeping your weekdays open?Iowa Home Care is looking for a dependable and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team as part of a dedicated Thursday–Sunday weekend package.This is a great opportunity for a CNA who prefers a predictable schedule and enjoys building meaningful relationships with patients through consistent, one-on-one care in their homes.Your Weekend ScheduleThis position is scheduled Thursday through Sunday with one of the following shift options:Morning Shift: 6:00 AM – 3:00 PMEvening Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PMThe consistent schedule allows you to know your hours in advance while keeping Monday through Wednesday available for personal time, family, school, another job, or simply enjoying your week.What You'll DoAs a Home Health CNA, you'll provide hands-on assistance that helps patients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes.Your responsibilities may include:Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygieneProvide toileting and elimination assistanceAssist with walking, transfers, positioning, and mobilityTake and document vital signs as directedAssist with catheter and G-tube care as trained and directedHelp with light housekeeping related to the patient's careAssist with laundry, dishes, vacuuming, and maintaining a safe environmentFollow infection prevention, safety, and PPE proceduresObserve patients for changes in condition and communicate concerns to the nursing teamProvide companionship and emotional supportFollow the patient's individualized plan of careTreat every patient with dignity, patience, and respectWhy Join Iowa Home Care?We believe CNAs are an essential part of the care team.
