Human Touch Home Health is seeking compassionate Home Health Aides (HHAs) for weekend PRN assignments in Washington, DC. If you want extra weekend hours, a flexible schedule, or ongoing weekend caregiving opportunities, we want to hear from you.

Qualifications

• Home Health Aide training meeting DC requirements.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred.
• Dependable transportation to patient assignments.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable weekend availability.
• Ability to work independently in patients' homes.
• Previous Home Health or Personal Care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care.
• Help with mobility, transfers, and ambulation.
• Assist with toileting and activities of daily living.
• Prepare light meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Perform light housekeeping related to patient care.
• Follow the established plan of care.
• Observe and report changes in patient condition.
• Complete required documentation and help patients remain safe and comfortable at home.
