Job summary

Valor is seeking Class A drivers for Midwest regional runs with weekend home time. OTR or regional experience of 8 months in the last 3 years qualifies you, with restrictions on violations and DOT incidents. Trucks are new Freightliner/Kenworth, with no-touch freight, 65% drop and hook, and a rider option from day one.

Drivers earn $0.67–$0.71 CPM plus safety and sign-on bonuses; comprehensive benefits begin after 60 days. Nights are common, and trucks can be taken home on weekends.

Qualifications

• 8 months OTR or Regional in last 3 years with two of those months winter conditions in Dec, Jan or Feb
• Maximum of 3 moving violations in CMV in last 3 years and no more than 2 in last year
• No DOT Preventable Accidents in last 3 years and no more than 3 parking lot incidents in last 2 years
• No more than 4 driving jobs in the last 12 months
• May not have been terminated from any driving job in the last 12 months and no more than 2 terminations in last 3 years

Responsibilities

• Home time: drivers get home every weekend for 48 hours
• No touch freight; 65% drop and hook, night driving required
• Operate new model Freightliner/Kenworth tractors with standard amenities
• Midwest Regional routes from IA to the Northeast
• Carry a rider starting day one
