Mesilla Valley Hospice is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Home Care Team on a part-time weekend day schedule. You will provide high-quality nursing care and symptom management to patients in their home environment, ensuring comfort for patients and support for families.

Responsibilities

• Direct Patient Care: conduct skilled nursing assessments and administer medications.
• Manage symptoms and perform hospice-specific interventions per care plans.
• Provide end-of-life education, comfort care, and family guidance.
• Collaborate with physicians, social workers, chaplains, and hospice aides.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation per Medicare/Medicaid rules.
• Travel to visit patients across the local service area.
