Job summary

Ridge Point Community Church is seeking a Weekend Guest Experience Coordinator in Holland, MI. This part-time role leads a team of volunteers to welcome attendees, creating a family atmosphere that moves people toward spiritual growth.

The position requires coordinating ushers, greeters, and parking, recruiting volunteers, and fostering meaningful conversations. Weekend services and special events will be supported by this role.

Qualifications

• Preferred two years’ experience in church ministry.
• Preferred two years of proven ability to develop, lead, and motivate volunteer teams.
• Willing to call Ridge Point Community Church your home church and attend regularly within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Create a culture of hospitality and a family feel. Make our building a place where people feel welcomed, safe and encouraged from the moment they arrive.
• Develop and maintain a system for ongoing recruitment of new Guest Experience team members.
• Train, develop and empower volunteers, creating simple best practices that help the team serve with confidence.
• Lead and coordinate Guest Experience areas, including ushers, greeters, and parking teams. This includes scheduling, weekly communication, and creating organized systems that are easy for volunteers to understand.
• Provide space for meaningful spiritual conversations, encouragement and support for Guest Experience Team members.
• Partner with the Weekend Gathering team to create welcoming lobby environments for special services and key weekends, including coordinating lobby décor and setup.
• Partner with Community Life to coordinate Guest Experience and logistical needs for baptisms.
• Partner with the Care Team to coordinate communion logistics, preparation, and volunteer support.

The Weekend Guest Experience Coordinator leads a team of passionate people who welcome attendees each week and create a family atmosphere that helps individuals take a step toward Jesus.

Hours

Part Time, average 20 hours weekly, including weekend hours

Responsibilities:
