Job summary

Responsibilities

• Review patient history and physician orders; determine appropriate ultrasound procedures and methods.
• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations with high-quality imaging while minimizing patient exposure.
• Position and transport patients and prepare equipment, supplies, and sterile trays as required.
• Educate patients before, during, and after procedures to reduce anxiety and promote cooperation.
• Analyze imaging results and document findings; report to physician and ensure proper coding and records.
