Job summary

The Kinetic Group in Anoka, MN seeks a Gage Coordinator to manage new gage orders, calibration, and changes to reflect approved product/inspection updates. You will calibrate gages, maintain records, and work with engineering and production to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

You will also build and repair gages, perform instrument calibration, and uphold safety standards on the manufacturing floor. A strong eye for detail and solid documentation are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Experience with inspection methods and equipment.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to use computers and software.
• Blueprint reading skills.
• Good problem solving and teamwork.
• No disciplinary action in last 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Collects information for requested gages and initiates new gage orders.
• Ensures changes reflect approved product/inspection updates.
• Builds new gages from parts from Machine Shop.
• Cleans and calibrates gages and scales in multiple plants.
• Repairs or rebuilds damaged gages.
• Orders spare parts and collaborates with engineering and production.
• Maintains gage calibration and repair records in PC system.
• Coordinates with other departments to complete work.
• Enforces safety and housekeeping rules.
