Job summary

ACMH, INC. in Manhattan (East Village) seeks a Front Desk Monitor for Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, 3:00pm-11:00pm or Saturdays 7:00am-3:00pm. The role supports residents and staff at ACMH housing locations.

You will monitor entry/egress, take messages, distribute mail, document incidents, assist with crisis response, and provide coverage at other ACMH sites as needed. A high school diploma and strong people skills are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work with people and take responsibility to carry out duties.
• Willingness to cover front desk shifts at multiple ACMH residential locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitors the entry and egress of building residents and guests.
• Takes telephone messages for residents and staff.
• Distributes resident mail.
• Acts as first line of defense in emergencies and assists with crisis intervention and building evacuation.
• Conducts building rounds during shift.
• Records resident events, incidents, and observations in the Front Desk Logbook.
• Monitors and documents client self-administration of medication per policy.
• Reports incidents or behavioral changes to on-call staff.
• Provides front desk coverage at ACMH locations as assigned.
