Courtland Rehabilitation And Healthcare Center is hiring a Weekend Receptionist in Courtland, VA. The role serves as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, directing inquiries to the correct departments and supporting multiple offices with clerical tasks.

Excellent customer service and professionalism are essential. The position includes weekday and weekend duties as needed, with opportunities for growth and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Operate multiline telephone and paging system.
• Answer incoming calls, determine the nature of the call and route the call to the appropriate party.
• Locate personnel by using overhead paging system.
• Greets and directs all visitors to the facility, ensures that all visitors sign-in and refuses entry when needed.
• Reports suspicious behavior to the supervisor on duty.
• Responds to inquiries regarding job openings and distributes job applications to prospective employees.
• Receives, sorts and forwards incoming mail; coordinates express mail pickup and delivery.
• Responsible for reporting all resident and facility concerns to the appropriate department head.
• Maintains a list of Residents by name and room number, staff extension numbers and key personnel.
• Handles sensitive information regarding Residents with professionalism and confidentiality.
• Keeps lobby and workstation clean and hazard-free; works in an organized fashion.
• Reports hazardous conditions, damaged equipment and supply issues to the supervisor.
• Communicates effectively with Residents, visitors, families, peers and supervisors.
• Attends departmental meetings and in-services as directed.
• Responds to special requests made by residents and families.
