Job summary

Chimes is seeking a Floor Technician for Saturdays and Sundays 8:00am-5:00pm at our DC location. You will perform cleaning and floor maintenance duties, including operating floor machines and using cleaning chemicals.

This part-time, on-site role requires attention to safety, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and ability to work independently within a team. We offer benefits including health plan, retirement plan, and life insurance.

Qualifications

• Six months of Floor Technician experience preferred
• Six months of Custodial experience
• Candidates with disabilities preferred
• High School diploma preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning and maintain floor surfaces according to contract specs
• Sweep, mop, and use floor machines
• Mix and measure chemicals and prepare equipment
• Follow safety rules and procedures
• Strip, wax, and buff floors; clean carpets as required
• Assist with inventory and keep records
