Chimes is seeking a Floor Technician to perform daily cleaning and maintain all floor surfaces. The role operates 1:00pm–10:00pm, Monday–Friday, with a pay rate of $22.98 per hour.

All applicants must be prepared to present proof of COVID vaccination or a negative test within 72 hours of entry to the facility. Essential duties include following contract specs, cleaning assigned areas, operating floor machinery, handling chemicals, and maintaining equipment.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Floor Technician training desired.
• Knowledge of floor finishes, applications, and removals.
• Knowledge of floor care equipment.
• Six months of Floor Technician experience preferred.
• Six months of Custodial experience.
• Candidates with disabilities preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Comply with all Agency policies and procedures and follow contract specifications.
• Comply with uniform dress code and personal hygiene standards.
• Clean all assigned areas in accordance with contract specifications.
• Sweep, dust mop, and damp mop floors.
• Use wet vacs and vacuums for carpets and tile.
• Detail corners and edges.
• Empty and clean machines after use.
• Move furniture/equipment to gain access to floors.
• Mix and measure chemicals.
• Prepare, use, and care for equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance check on equipment before and after use.
• Follow all safety rules and procedures when using any equipment.
• Strip, seal, wax, burnish, & buff floors; clean carpets as required.
• Use low speed and high speed rotary floor machines and ride on floor machines.
• Use scrubbers, burnishers, buffers, strippers, and extractors.
• Use wet vacs, carpet extractors, and carpet spotters.
• Removal trash in specific areas when required.
• Pass and comply with all building and security requirements and procedures.

Educación

High School diploma or equivalent preferred

Floor Technician training desired

Knowledge of floor finishes, applications, and removals

Knowledge of floor care equipment

Six months of Floor Technician experience preferred
