Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc Supply Chain in Booneville, MS is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Tech (Weekend) to perform preventative maintenance and timely repairs on equipment and facilities on the weekend shift (Friday–Sunday, 6:00am–6:30pm). The role requires reading work orders, safety adherence, and strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, maintaining electrical systems, conveyors, and mechanical components while keeping parts inventory organized.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• At least 3 years of maintenance experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Read, interpret, and implement work orders.
• Ability to effectively communicate verbally, written, and in an e-mail.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Safety minded in all work performed.
• Ability to problem solve/troubleshoot and understand resources to accomplish tasks.
• Capable of gathering needed materials to complete repairs/work orders.

Responsibilities

• Practice safe work practices and adhere to PPE standards throughout the facility.
• Adhere to Williams-Sonoma policies with professionalism and integrity.
• Monitor, maintain, and perform minor repairs, maintenance, and improvements.
• Accurately track and store the department's inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment.
• Support continuous improvement within all departments.
• Drive (PIT) Powered Industrial Trucks as needed.
• Will be required to take WSI certification and pass.
• Assess and resolve a wide array of maintenance issues on-site.
• Sewing machine repair and maintenance.
• Cutter repair and maintenance.
• Conveyor repair.
• Electrical knowledge.
• Lighting both interior and exterior.
• Maintain all racks and guard rails.
• Plumbing.
• Welding.
• Carpentry.
• Pneumatic systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks using tools and equipment.
• Perform battery changes and preventive maintenance on batteries.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
