Job summary

Athena Manufacturing, LP is seeking a Fabrication Supervisor for the weekend shift (Friday/Saturday/Sunday) to lead daily fabrication activities, coordinate staffing, and ensure safety and quality targets are met. The role includes recruiting, coaching, and mentoring team members while driving continuous improvement.

You will oversee planning, utilization of resources, and reporting to management, with emphasis on Lean practices and productive workflow.

Qualifications

• Minimum HS diploma or GED with 2 years of fabrication/sheet metal experience.
• 2 years lead/supervisory experience.
• Able to perform physical requirements.
• Great attitude and willingness to grow our employees.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and manage weekend shift fabrication activities.
• Recruit, interview, and hire on demand.
• Conduct performance reviews and coaching.
• Ensure safety practices and lean manufacturing standards (6S).
• Prepare production reports for management.
• Mentor new employees and assign mentors.
• Coordinate with department manager on work scopes.
