Eaton is seeking a Machine Operator for the WKND Shift at the Arden, NC site. The role involves performing fabrication operations on raw materials using metal processing machinery and following all safety rules.

Responsibilities include setting up PLC/Analog/manual machines, reading work orders and drawings, maintaining equipment, and training new operators. Requires a high school diploma or GED and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic computer skills including Word and general Internet usage.
• No sponsorship for immigration or CPT/OPT/H-1B programs.

Responsibilities

• Observe all safety rules and hygiene regulations.
• Receive and understand work assignments from supervisor.
• Set up operation on PLC, analog, or manual machines.
• Operate equipment to produce parts.
• Interpret work orders, Kanban cards, and drawings.
• Complete paperwork and system transactions.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and materials for continuous operation.
• Inspect final components against specifications.
• Perform necessary operator maintenance on equipment.
• Report abnormal situations and submit maintenance work orders.
• Provide on-the-job training for new operators.
• Perform TPM and 5S+ responsibilities daily.
• Complete any other tasks from management or leads.
