Job summary

Adecco is assisting a local client in Bardstown, KY in recruiting for an Events Set Up Coordinator. This temporary, full-time position involves setting up and breaking down events, ensuring guest experience, and coordinating with managers and vendors.

Weekend availability is required and the role includes reception of payments and reporting duties. The role offers an opportunity to gain experience in a museum or cultural setting, with standard event responsibilities and adherence to park

Qualifications

• Must be available to work weekends, Friday–Sunday; schedule varies and could extend to late nights
• Valid driver license and reliable transportation required
• Previous experience in customer service, events, catering or bar services
• Must be able to lift 25 lbs and stand or bend for long periods
• Will work 30-37.5 hours per week; attendance on scheduled days
• Experience in a fast-paced event environment and handling tickets/sales

Responsibilities

• Assist and support Event Manager in setting up and breaking down events
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients and vendors
• Assist with seating, dining and guest experience
• Collect payments and complete event reports
• Maintain venues before, during and after events (cleaning, restrooms, etc.)
• Address problems calmly and professionally
• Keep records of ticket sales and visitor statistics
• Participate in training and staff meetings
