This part-time, in-office role covers Saturday and Sunday from 6 AM to 4 PM CST, focusing on overseeing after-hours operations, handling escalations, and ensuring reliable service delivery.

The ideal candidate will have logistics or dispatch experience, strong communication, and calm decision-making in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor customer inboxes and provide timely, accurate responses
• Prioritize urgent requests and service issues
• Support carrier sales activities including capacity sourcing and rate discussions
• Ensure load coverage and meet service commitments
• Oversee track-and-trace operations for shipment visibility
• Communicate delays and updates to stakeholders
• Review approvals, denials, and rate adjustments per policies
• Maintain loads in the transportation management system
• Delegate work to after-hours/weekend team members
• Provide real-time guidance and coaching during shifts
