Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Good communication skills required.
• Physically fit to perform extensive walking, stair climbing, lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work all shifts.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Clean building floors, bathrooms and kitchens and common areas.
• Operate cleaning equipment to strip, buff and wax floors.
• Move materials and furniture as required and report malfunctions.
• Dispose of trash, recycle, and maintain supplies.
• Remove ice and snow, de-ice areas, respond to emergencies per 24-hour duty.
• Receive/store supplies and maintain janitorial equipment.
