Job summary

The Caring Community of CT is seeking a Community Living Specialist for Riley House in Ledyard to support individuals with daily living activities and behavioral support plans. The role is based in Riley House with an open shift schedule and a pay rate of $20.16 per hour.

Responsibilities include assisting with mobility, medication administration per training, documentation, transportation, and participating in required trainings to ensure safety and quality of life for individuals served.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with daily living activities and their behavioral support plans.
• Assist with physical mobility and transfers when needed, using approved training and equipment.
• Provide basic medical support and medication administration according to required training and certification.
• Complete service notes, reports, and incident documentation accurately and on time.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow agency policies to protect individuals from abuse and neglect.
• Provide transportation in a safe and lawful manner.
• Attend required training and maintain applicable CPR, first aid, and medication administration certifications.
• Work cooperatively with individuals served, families, supervisors, and other team members.
