Job summary

BluePearl Pet Hospital is seeking an experienced Emergency Veterinary Technician to join our busy Critical Care team. This part-time weekend position offers a pay range of $20.00–$40.00 per hour, depending on experience and competency levels.

Candidates with a VTS credential may receive compensation commensurate with experience. You'll work alongside talented veterinary professionals in a fast-paced environment while expanding your skills and mentoring others.

Responsibilities

• Induce, monitor and recover anesthesia in patients and use anesthesia/monitoring equipment.
• Triage emergency cases as they arrive at the hospital including obtaining vitals such as temperature heart rate, respiratory rate and blood pressure.
• Perform digital radiography using proper technique including proper positioning of patients.
