Job summary

BluePearl Pet Hospital is seeking experienced Veterinary Technicians for our busy Emergency and Critical Care department. The role offers a competitive hourly pay range and growth opportunities within a fast-paced hospital setting.

Applicants with VTS credentialing may receive compensation commensurate with experience. Shift differentials apply for eligible nights and weekends, and a strong focus is placed on mentoring peers and expanding clinical skills.

Qualifications

• Must have current veterinary technician credentials.
• Experience in emergency and critical care is preferred.
• Ability to monitor and interpret vitals and anesthesia parameters.

Responsibilities

• Induce, monitor and recover anesthesia in patients.
• Triage emergency cases and monitor vitals.
• Perform digital radiography with proper technique.
• Place IV catheters and manage phlebotomy.
• Assist in CPR and critical care procedures.
• Mentor and train junior staff.
• Communicate effectively with clients.
