Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Weekend RN to join our Nurse team at Baptist Medical Center South in Montgomery, AL. The RN will supervise nursing personnel on shift, coordinate care, and ensure quality and continuity of patient care, collaborating with physicians and other clinicians. This is a Regular-Full time role on First Shift, with weekend coverage.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN license, BLS, and a nursing degree; ACLS/PALS/NRP/TNCC may be required based on unit assignment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Active RN licensure required, BLS required, ACLS/PALS/NRP/TNCC may be required depending upon area assigned.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate activities of nursing personnel on shift, weekends and holidays to ensure quality patient care.
• Utilize the nursing process in patient assessment, planning and intervention.
• Collaborate with Physicians and other healthcare clinicians in planning and implementing patient care.
• May have additional duties within scope of role.
