Job summary

Alliance Laundry Systems is seeking an Electro Mechanical Technician 2 for weekend days in Ripon, WI. The role is on-site with a direct-hire status and offers a competitive hourly range plus a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

The position requires an Associate degree and 2–4 years of related experience, plus proficiency with CMMS and electrical/ PLC controls. Responsibilities include designing and testing electrical circuits, wiring machines, and installing controls.

Qualifications

• Two-year Associate degree and 2-4 years’ work experience required.
• Ability to utilize a computer to search for parts and enter work into a CMMS.
• Experience in designing minor electrical circuits and to test and troubleshoot electrical, PLC and electronic circuits used for the control of machines and equipment.
• Experience in troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic circuits.
• Install electrical and electronic controls on machines and equipment by reading and interpreting schematics or blueprints.
• Must have knowledge of electrical power and water distribution systems.
• Must perform basic mechanical repairs.
• Interpret blueprints, work from sketches or verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Design, test and troubleshoot electrical, PLC and electronic control circuits for machines.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic circuits.
• Install controls on machines using schematics or blueprints.
• Interpret electrical power and water distribution system needs.
• Perform basic mechanical repairs.
• May direct work of lower classifications.
• Dismantle electrical machinery and replace defective parts as needed.
• Mount motors, transformers, and lighting fixtures per diagrams.
• Layout, assemble, install, test and adjust electrical fixtures, wiring and new services.
