Job summary

Eaton's PDCA Power Distribution Control Assembly division in El Paso, TX is seeking a Quality Inspector for the Weekend Shift. The role focuses on wiring verification, component testing, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards to support timely order fulfillment.

The incumbent will use Hi-Pot, continuity testing, and torque wrench verification, documenting results and ensuring revisions are up-to-date.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
Minimum of 6 months manufacturing, production, or military experience OR a degree in a technical discipline.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
No relocation benefit is offered; candidates within 50-mile radius of El Paso, TX only.

Responsibilities

Inspect and Hi-Pot switchboard products to confirm proper function and identify non-conformances.
Perform electrical testing using Hi-Pot, continuity test, and device-specific tools.
Verify torqueed connections with a torque wrench and ensure compliance with instructions.
Document inspections and revise documentation to reflect current revisions.
Communicate non-conformances and assist with rework and corrective actions.
