Job summary

Avenues Home Care of Tennessee is seeking a Weekend Caregiver to support elderly, vulnerable, and disabled clients. You will assist with ADLs, medication reminders, light housekeeping, meals, and transportation while reporting daily activities to your supervisor.

Avenues serves Sevierville and surrounding areas from its Knoxville office. Weekend shifts include Full Time, Part Time, 8, 10, 12 hour shifts, PRN and Short Shift options.

Qualifications

• Strong communication ability with clients and team.
• Ability to follow written care plans and verbal instructions.
• Proficiency with Homecare Company Management System—ClearCare.

Responsibilities

• Assist the client with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as specified in the client’s plan of care.
• Assist with medication assistance, housekeeping, meal preparation, transportation, and companionship.
• Report daily activity to supervisor and maintain daily logs.
