Job summary

Avenues Home Care of Tennessee is seeking a Weekend Caregiver to support elderly and vulnerable clients in Knoxville and surrounding areas. You will provide compassionate care, assist with daily living activities, light housekeeping, and transportation needs to help clients maintain independence.

The role requires reliable transportation, good communication, and adherence to company policies, HIPAA, and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to follow verbal and written assignments precisely.
• Familiarity with Homecare Management System ClearCare.
• Reliable, compassionate, and professional in client care.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as per client care plan.
• Assist with medications, housekeeping, laundry, meals, shopping, transportation and companionship.
• Report daily activity to supervisor via management system and logs.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
