Job summary

Salus Homecare - Orange County is seeking experienced personal attendants/caregivers to assist elderly clients in Irvine. The role emphasizes dedication, dependability, and improving quality of life.

The position preferences a male caregiver with experience using hoyer lift and caring for bed-bound patients. The client requires coverage on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 7am to 7pm, with overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• English language proficiency required (speak, read, write).
• CA State Homecare Aide Certification (HCA) required or able to obtain with Salus assistance.
• Livescan fingerprint for FBI background check is required/needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Bathing, grooming, personal care, feeding/meal prep, toileting, ambulation, medication reminders, social interaction, and more.
