Job summary

Salus Homecare is seeking experienced personal attendants to assist elderly clients in Orange County, CA and surrounding areas. The role focuses on enhancing quality of life through compassionate in-home care and daily support.

Responsibilities include ADL assistance, meal prep, light housekeeping, and safe transportation to appointments. Salus offers benefits, paid leave, 401k, and flexible hours to accommodate caregivers.

Qualifications

• HCA certification required and Livescan fingerprinting; Salus helps with the process if not certified.
• TB Test within 90 days of start.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the USA.
• Able to perform all job functions physically.
• Safe driving record and valid auto insurance if driving clients.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADL's).
• Bathing, grooming, personal care, feeding / meal prep, toileting, ambulation, medication reminders, social interaction.
• Be oriented and well trained on all aspects of the client’s Plan of Care.
• Meal prep and cooking.
• Assist with light housekeeping (vacuuming, sweeping, changing linens, laundry, etc).
• Drive clients to and from medical appointments, grocery store, etc.
