Job summary

Advocate Health in Wisconsin seeks a dual ED Tech/HUC to support Emergency Department operations. The role is part-time (24 hours per week) with shifts including 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

every Saturday and Sunday, plus weekend rotation. The candidate will perform patient care under nursing/medical staff, assist with procedures, monitor leads, and maintain ED supplies. Requirements include 2–3 years of hospital patient care experience and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of hospital or pre-hospital patient care experience.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Ability to move and lift patients and push carts.
• Proficient keyboard use and computer screen viewing.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct patient care as directed by nursing and medical staff.
• Assist with invasive procedures such as airway management and central line insertion.
• Apply and monitor cardiac leads; perform EKGs as needed.
• Maintain supplies and equipment in ED areas and clean/dirty rooms.
• Document interventions in the electronic medical record.
