Job summary

The Chandler Emergency Department at University of Kentucky is seeking a Nurse Clin ical/7P F/S WEPP - CMC ED to join the weekend plan. The role involves care across triage, express, acute and critical care areas within a Level I Trauma Center, delivering patient-centered care with a multidisciplinary team.

Requires ADN and KY RN license with active BLS, ability to work two twelve-hour weekend shifts (Fri & Sat 7p–7:30a) and some holidays.

Qualifications

• ADN required; no experience required.
• Active KY RN license and AHA BLS required.
• Must be able to lift 50-100 pounds daily.

Responsibilities

• Provide total, comprehensive, continuous and patient-centered nursing care.
• Deliver direct patient care; document and update nursing plans of care.
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Mentor and delegate duties to Nursing Care Technicians as appropriate.
