Job summary

Baptist Health in Kentucky is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Freestanding Emergency Department on a PRN night schedule (7p–7a). The RN provides direct care from admission to discharge, documents outcomes, and maintains standards of care in a fast-paced ED setting.

Requirements include an ADN, current KY RN license, ACLS within 6 months, BLS within 90 days, ENPC within 3 years, NIHSS and PALS within 6 months, and TNCC within two years of hire, plus crisis prevention training annually.

Qualifications

• ADN degree from an accredited program.
• Current unrestricted RN licensure in Kentucky.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
• BLS required within 90 days of hire.
• ENPC required within 3 years of hire.
• NIHSS required within 6 months of hire.
• PALS required within 6 months of hire.
• TNCC required within two years of hire.
• Mandatory nonviolent crisis prevention training to be completed by end of orientation and maintained annually.

Responsibilities

• Direct comprehensive nursing care from admission to discharge.
• Review and document care, outcomes, and evaluations.
• Follow professional standards of care.
