Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Weekend Program at our Freestanding Emergency Department. The role is full-time, 11a–11p, with 15% shift differential and 25% weekend differential.

Responsibilities include direct nursing care from admission to discharge, with documentation of care outcomes and adherence to professional standards. Requires Kentucky RN licensure and ADN or higher, with required certifications completed within specified timelines.

Qualifications

• ADN degree from an accredited institution.
• Current unrestricted licensure as a Registered Nurse in Kentucky.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
• BLS required within 90 days of hire.
• ENPC required within three years of hire.
• NIHSS required within 6 months of hire.
• PALS required within 6 months of hire.
• TNCC required within two years of hire.
• Mandatory nonviolent crisis prevention training to be completed prior to end of orientation period and maintained annually.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and documents care provided, outcomes of care, and evaluations of care.
• Follows the professional standards of care.
