Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking an Emergency Department RN to supervise nursing staff on the weekend third shift and ensure quality patient care. Responsibilities include coordinating care, performing assessments, and collaborating with physicians.

Qualifications include an active RN license, BLS, and a BSN or nursing degree as a preferred credential. Depending on the unit, ACLS/PALS/NRP/TNCC and other certifications may be required.

Qualifications

• Must hold active RN licensure.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, etc. may be required depending on area.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing personnel on shift, including weekends and holidays.
• Coordinate nursing care and ensure continuity of patient care.
• Utilize the nursing process in patient assessments, care planning and interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians and other clinicians in care planning and implementation.
