Job summary

Providence Newberg Medical Center in Newberg, OR, is seeking an Echocardiograph Technologist for a part-time, day-shift role on Saturdays and Sundays from 7:30am to 6:00pm. A $4,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible external candidates who meet payment conditions, with benefits starting on day one.

The role requires certification as an Oregon Sonographer, and national credentials in cardiac sonography (CCI/ARDMS) plus BLS.

Qualifications

• Oregon Sonographer credential required at hire.
• National Registry Cardiac Sonographer (CCI) or equivalent credential at hire.
• National Advanced Cardiac Sonographer (CCI) credential at hire.
• National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS) at hire.
• Basic Life Support by American Heart Association at hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs cardiac ultrasound examinations per physician orders using diverse ultrasound equipment.
• Identifies presence or absence of disease with knowledge of anatomy and physiology; assists with invasive echocardiography including TEE and echo-guided procedures.
• Maintains patient care standards and supports a culture of patient-focused, whole-person care.
