Providence Newberg Medical Center in Newberg, OR, is seeking an Echocardiograph Technologist for a part-time, day-shift role on Saturdays and Sundays from 7:30am to 6:00pm. A $4,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible external candidates who meet payment conditions, with benefits starting on day one.
The role requires certification as an Oregon Sonographer, and national credentials in cardiac sonography (CCI/ARDMS) plus BLS.
Performs cardiac ultrasound examinations according to physician's orders, utilizing a variety of complex ultrasound equipment. Objectively identifies the presence of or absence of disease utilizing a thorough knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Assists physicians with more invasive echocardiography examinations including, but not limited to, Transesophageal echocardiography, Trans-catheter echo guided procedures (location specific), pericardiocentesis, echo guided myocardial biopsies (location specific), contrast enhanced exams, exercise and pharmacological stress echocardiography.
