Qualifications

• Upon hire: Oregon Sonographer
• Upon hire: National Registered Cardiac Sonographer - Cardiovascular Credentialing International, Or
• Upon hire: National Advanced Cardiac Sonographer - Cardiovascular Credentialing International, Or
• Upon hire: National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• Associate's Degree in Applied Science in Noninvasive Cardiovascular Technology or Diagnostic Medical Sonography required/preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs cardiac ultrasound examinations per physician orders.
• Identifies presence or absence of disease using anatomy and physiology.
• Assists with invasive echocardiography including TEE and echo-guided procedures.
• Complies with the American Society of Echocardiography standards and department policies.
• Requires standby and call-back coverage evenings and weekends.
