Job summary

Acme Providers, Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This PRN weekend position will support clients on Saturdays and Sundays from 7am to 8pm, with duties including ADLs, transportation, and companionship.

The DSP will provide daily living support, monitor health needs, and promote independence in a respectful, compassionate environment. A valid license, clean background and 2 years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License is required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to pass Background Check & Drug Screening is required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the field is preferred.
• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Help adults with disabilities complete ADLs (eating, dressing, bathing).
• Provide companionship and support to promote independence and self-advocacy.
• Monitor health and medical needs and document progress.
• Assist with scheduling and transportation needs.
• Supervise clients in a supportive and respectful manner.
