Job summary

Center for Human Services (CHS) in Sedalia, MO is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide compassionate, person-centered support in residential settings. This role helps individuals achieve independence and promotes dignity, inclusion, and community engagement.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living, mobility, meals, medications per orders, documentation, and ensuring a safe home environment. Weekend availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities preferred.
• Must have valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Promote meaningful community integration and support daily living skills in residential ISL settings.
• Provide personalized physical and emotional support, including mobility, meals, laundry and safety.
• Administer medications per physician orders and maintain accurate documentation.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and respectful, person-centered home environment.
