Job summary

Brighter Day Adult Services in Henrico, VA is hiring Weekend Warriors to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a licensed group home setting. Weekend shifts offer increased pay, with $16.00/hr for no experience up to $18.00/hr with multiple certifications.

Base weekday rates are $1.00/hr less than weekend rates. Duties include assisting residents with hygiene, meals (medications with certification), and promoting independence while ensuring safety and dignity.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED
• Experience preferred but not required
• Valid certifications strongly preferred: CPR/First Aid, Medication Administration, and TOVA

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with hygiene, meals, and personal care
• Administer medications (with proper certification)
• Promote independence, social interaction, and inclusion
• Ensure safety, dignity, and cleanliness of the home
• Complete documentation and follow individual support plans
